TL;DR

Every App is an open source platform that runs AI-native tools in your own Cloudflare account. Install the CLI, run one setup command, and a shared Gateway handles authentication, API key management, and an MCP endpoint for every app. The current library includes OpenSEO (SEO research), OpenCRM, OpenAnalytics, and OpenMail. Setup requires Cloudflare's Workers Paid plan at $5 a month and a domain on Cloudflare. The project is in early development and describes itself as alpha.

who it's for

Who Every App is for#

Replacing several SaaS subscriptions

A solo founder or small team paying monthly for separate SEO research, CRM, analytics, and email tools can replace all four with Every App's library for the cost of Cloudflare's Workers Paid plan plus API usage. All apps share one Cloudflare Access sign-in and one credential vault at the Gateway.

Skip if:

The current apps are early-stage. Check each app's own repository and documentation against your actual requirements before switching away from established tools. Teams that need feature-complete coverage in any single category may find the apps thin for production use.

Deploying AI agent tooling with shared MCP access

Teams using AI agents for internal tooling can use Every App as a shared deployment target with built-in MCP access. A new tool built or installed by an agent is available to every other agent and human user through one MCP endpoint immediately. The standardized Workers stack removes per-tool infrastructure decisions.

Skip if:

Every App requires a commitment to Cloudflare-only deployment for every app in the platform. It does not support multi-cloud or infrastructure outside Cloudflare Workers.

Building and distributing open source business tools

Developers building open source alternatives to SaaS products can use Every App's component library and stack conventions as a starting point. The `everyapp create my-app` command scaffolds a new app on the same Workers/D1/R2 foundation, and Every App's install system distributes it to other users' Cloudflare accounts.

Skip if:

Every App only distributes apps designed for its Cloudflare-native stack. Existing tools built for other runtimes need a rewrite to run on the platform.

the problem

The problem it solves#

Paying for several SaaS tools means separate authentication for each one, separate API key management, and separate monthly invoices. Your data lives on the vendors' servers, and you depend on their pricing, reliability, and roadmap decisions.

Self-hosting open source alternatives addresses cost and lock-in, but creates a different kind of overhead: each tool needs its own hosting setup, database, authentication layer, and deployment pipeline. Stitching together independent self-hosted services with no shared infrastructure takes real time and breaks when any component changes.

how Every App solves it

How it solves it#

Shared Gateway with centralized API keys

Every outbound API call from an installed app passes through the Gateway rather than leaving the app directly. Connect an external API once and every app in your account can request access to it. No individual app stores credentials, which reduces the blast radius if any single app is compromised or updated carelessly.

Cloudflare Access authentication

The Gateway and every installed app run behind Cloudflare Access. Team members sign in once and can use every app with no separate login per tool. The entire stack has no public address outside the Gateway, so all traffic flows through Cloudflare's edge infrastructure.

Serverless zero-idle-cost hosting

Each app runs on Cloudflare Workers with D1 for SQLite storage, R2 for object storage, and KV for key-value data. An app with no traffic costs nothing; Cloudflare's Workers Paid plan at $5 a month covers hundreds of apps. No server provisioning and no idle compute costs.

MCP Gateway for AI agents

When an app is installed, it becomes accessible through the Every App MCP Gateway. AI agents using Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor can call every installed app through one MCP endpoint with the same authentication and key management that human users have.

Forkable MIT-licensed app library

The library ships OpenSEO, OpenCRM, OpenAnalytics, and OpenMail as complete MIT-licensed codebases. Run one as-is or fork it as the starting point for your own tool. A shared component library and stack conventions mean a fork has a working foundation rather than a blank page.

strengths · trade-offs

Strengths and trade-offs#

Strengths

  • All apps behind one sign-inCloudflare Access handles authentication for the Gateway and every installed app in one layer. There are no per-app login pages or separate credential flows. A team member with Access can reach every installed app immediately after the initial setup.
  • No per-seat billingEvery App is MIT licensed and runs in your Cloudflare account. The only recurring cost is Cloudflare's Workers Paid plan at $5 a month plus any external API usage an app incurs. A team of ten pays the same infrastructure cost as a team of one.
  • Agent-native MCP architectureThe MCP Gateway is built into the platform from the start. Any AI agent that supports MCP can call every installed app through one endpoint without separate API setup per tool. The README includes a setup prompt that lets a coding agent provision the full Gateway automatically.

Trade-offs

  • -Alpha with active rough edgesEvery App's README calls the project early development and directs early adopters to a dedicated help page. At listing time, the project has 61 GitHub stars and zero open issues. APIs and the app library may change between releases without notice.
  • -Cloudflare-only architectureEvery app runs exclusively on Cloudflare Workers, D1, R2, and KV. This is a hard dependency: the platform does not run on AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Run, or bare-metal servers. You also need a domain managed through Cloudflare and the Workers Paid tier.
  • -Small app library at launchThe library ships four apps at launch: OpenSEO, OpenCRM, OpenAnalytics, and OpenMail. All four are early-stage. Teams that need feature-complete, production-grade tooling in any of these categories will find the current apps thin compared to established paid alternatives in each space.
versus alternatives

Every App vs alternatives#

Every App vs managed hosting platforms

Managed platforms like Railway, Render, and Vercel host your apps on their infrastructure. Every App runs in your own Cloudflare account: the Workers, databases, and data stay under your account and your billing. A managed platform charges per project, per team, or per usage tier on top of what you pay for compute. Every App's only infrastructure cost is Cloudflare's Workers Paid plan at $5 a month.

Managed platforms are production-grade, with enterprise support, uptime SLAs, and broad framework compatibility. Every App is in alpha, runs only on Cloudflare's building blocks (Workers, D1, R2, KV), and has no enterprise support. If your team needs stability or portability across cloud providers, a managed platform is the better fit.

Every App vs individual SaaS tools

Every App ships OpenSEO, OpenCRM, OpenAnalytics, and OpenMail as open source alternatives to paid SaaS tools in their categories. Running them through Every App means all four share one Cloudflare Access sign-in, one API key vault at the Gateway, and one MCP endpoint for AI agents.

The apps are early-stage. A paid SaaS product in any of these categories will have more integrations, deeper features, dedicated support, and proven uptime. Every App is the better choice when you want to cut recurring SaaS costs, keep data in infrastructure you own, and give AI agents a clean single interface to your tools.

FAQ#

What does Every App cost?

Every App is MIT licensed and free. The only required cost is Cloudflare's Workers Paid plan at $5 a month, which is Cloudflare's own pricing. Beyond that, you pay for external API usage per installed app, such as an LLM API for OpenMail. An app with zero traffic costs nothing beyond the $5 monthly base.

Which apps does Every App include?

At launch the library has four apps: OpenSEO for SEO research, OpenCRM for customer relationship management, OpenAnalytics for cookie-free web analytics on Cloudflare, and OpenMail, an inbox where an AI agent drafts replies for you to approve. All four are MIT licensed. OpenSEO is also available as a standalone catalogue item. More apps are on the roadmap.

Can AI agents use Every App?

Yes. Every installed app is immediately accessible through Every App's MCP Gateway. AI agents that support MCP, including those built on Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor, can call every installed app through one MCP endpoint. The README includes a setup prompt that lets a coding agent provision the full Gateway automatically.

What does Every App require to run?

You need a Cloudflare account on the Workers Paid plan ($5 a month from Cloudflare) and a domain managed through Cloudflare. Every app runs on Cloudflare Workers, D1, R2, and KV. Setup takes about 15 minutes using the npm CLI: npm install -g everyapp, then everyapp setup with your domain.

Is Every App production-ready?

The README describes Every App as in early development and in alpha. The team provides a Discord community and a dedicated early-adopters guide for help with rough edges. The project was last updated in October 2026 and is actively maintained, but APIs and the app library may change. Teams with strict uptime or compliance requirements should wait for a stable release.
